The Need for a Redesign

As Casavi’s tenant app grew in usage, new challenges surfaced. Increasing feature complexity and a growing user base led to usability issues that impacted overall efficiency. Core workflows became harder to navigate, revealing the need for a more intuitive and scalable solution.

The app's structure was reorganized to better align with user tasks and expectations. Previously scattered features were clustered into clear, logical categories—making navigation more intuitive and helping users complete key tasks faster. This shift not only improved usability but also laid the groundwork for a more scalable and maintainable experience.

Low fidelity sketches made the start. They allowed move fast and dont waste any time.

The present design system was extended by a set of mobile components. As the App was built in React native, we aimed to keep close to react mobile patterns in order to keep effort small and make this feasible.

It creates a more consistent experience across the casavi ecosystem, making everyday tasks—like submitting service requests or checking meter readings—easier to navigate.
